I have pointed out judicial misconduct, ethical violations, federal and state criminal offences and Scotillo volunteers at PADS to Hope, You got to be kidding me, in between, mail fraud, obstruction of justice, criminal cover up, aiding and abetting, encouraging his selected few and others who can pay the price to enjoy his organization.
There you go, self sole cleansing, instead of going to church for a hour a week, he can volunteer time, depending on his guilt complex. I know of another volunteer, who actually does something.
I did plumbing at a new house, habitat for the homeless, in Woodstock, years ago, before I lost my business. Scotillo does volunteer for sport, to amuse himself. I do it from the gut, there is a big difference.
It is my position also, that Scotillo and probably most others, that have not experienced homelessness, down and out, drug abuse, will never have any idea what a homeless, or drug addict is talking about, what is on his mind. The closest he or they will ever get to understanding such, is throught a book, if that.
Sure they have charts, spread sheets, records, accountants, book keepers, titles, awards, degrees, money, power, what ever they want to say, they say what they want.
If Sotomayor statement was something like this, "a intelligent Latino woman can make wiser decisions concerning Latinos than a white man", I would agree, completly. Like asking a Eskimo to tell some one from Arizona what is best.
Until you have been there and done it, the vast majority have no clue. I asked and I received and I think, I am a better man.
So we take what we can (life's offerings), see what tomorrow will bring, one day at a time.
